[glow=blue,2,400]To the girl I met that I can't forget I was down and screaming inside my head, Constant cry that wept it's case, Then one glimmer of hope. I saw you in the distance, That bright shining light which blinds the eye to see, I broke down to my knees, wept and began to pray. What is this beauty that one cannot behold? That candle in the empty hollow dark, The one I love, I thought love had broken, Like a tree in a fierce storm cut down it's centre, A bastion of ageless charm, That is you. Please don't say you'll break it again, For as I weep I realise I tread a line so thin, As to be totally non-existant. Please not again. For the light fades a slight glimmer now, Please don't go. I love you, Don't leave me. ~ Tom Perrin www.angelfire.com/poetry/GehennasPoetry/[/glow]
