Hello, Finally a forum that focus on gay rights. Let me tell you a little about myself. I’m 17 from Massachusetts. I am a gay rights supporter. I started a few years ago when a teacher from my school formed a Gay/Straight Alliance. I entered sophomore year and became president of it Junior Year. Now I'm a senior and still a supporter and president of the GSA. I have many friends and some family members that are gay and many friends that are straight that have gay friends that believes in gay rights. Recently my teacher got engaged to her girlfriend and I was invited to their wedding, which would be the first gay marriage I have ever been to (or even heard of, I can’t wait to go). There are many stereotypical people out there and hopefully one day they will realize that they are wrong. I will try to be an active poster, but I gotta post and upgrade my board, post at a gaming board and sometimes post at the proboards site itself. Hopefully I will be helpful at this board, and remember tolerance is key to win.  p.s what does placidfemme stand for? |

i agree there. people could learn a lot from gay people. I'm not gay, but they're just as good as any of us. I know some people hate that thought, but I know in my mind it's right. plus, gay people are cool. i've known a few myself and they were awesome. welcome aboard!

Firstly.... I'm a lesbian (and proud of it), I'm glad you both support gay/les people, we're not different but we're hated all the same  I'm trying to build this board into a gay/les support board but I just need more help on topics and getting it going. Budko if you have any ideas on how I can do that I'd be more than happy to do them ;D What does placidfemme mean? Well I've had a few people tell me I'm a placid calm person (hehe some would disagree) so I choose it as my name ages ago, then when I made this board I just named it that cause I couldn't think of anything else at the time... I'm planning on changing it soon once I can think of gay/les related name that doesn't offend anyone.... any ideas on that would be great too! Do you know of any other gay/les proboards? Once again welcome
