I test rode a TDM900 yesterday. And then I brought it. ;D So no more breaking down, running out of fuel, unsure what the time is, back cramps, shitting yourself cause the oil lights on in the middle of nowhere, riding on my own, sore backs, numb fingers, filling up with fuel every 100kms and having to work on the bike every weekend (although I actully enjoy that bit )

really like my TDR but crap fuel range and 17year old two stroke made it unsuitable for long range which is what i do most of the time. For me a bike is something that i can go to places with and enjoy getting there. Also want to take my wife with me. I tried a blackbird but the extra speed was more than i need. Also thought i wanted a sportsbike but the more i test rode machines the more i realised any big capacity bike is going to be fast enough so might as well have some comfort too. Plus with the TDM gravel roads arnt a problem. I think the main thing when buying a new bike is to test lots. I also like Yamahas and the local dealer that I am buying it from has always been very helpful to me.
Pics to come, wont be picking it up until next weekend.
